Project-based Learning

Engaging students in project-based learning serves many purposes. One purpose of this is that it can grab interest of the students. Doing projects allows students to create and expand on their knowledge in ways they don't typically get to. Also, project-based learning serves as a way for students to engage with their peers if it is a group project. This allows them to connect with classmates and develop relationships.
Technology can be very helpful for projects. You can use computers to create or design things for them. You can also use computers or smart phones to send your work back and forth with your classmates.
When creating the webpage for the museum I plan to explore the different kinds of tools given. I would like to make the page fun to be on my adding images and using the flashcard feature. Since my content area is special education I plan to use more pictures and visuals as probably most people. I want to make it fun, but educational.
